This Weaver half breed design is 72" long and made of burgundy latigo leather. Since leather off billets deteriorate over time and should be checked frequently, Weaver supplies this replacement off billet to keep you cinched up safely during those long days in the saddle.
The advantage of the half breed off billet is that it distributes the pressure on the billet at the rigging dee and at the cinch dee and NOT in the hole of the off billet.

Half Breed Off BIlletgreat quality leather, is working well, had to google how to use a half breed as I was not familiar with it or how to rig it on the saddle.
Pros:Supple leather - it did take a couple of rides before it completely conformed to saddle.
Cons:The dye on the leather did stain the mare that I ride, but it would brush right off
