It's not quite what my horse needsThis pad is exactly the right shape and size for my Rocky Mountain mare. I use the Tacky Too version, but she hates Tacky Too, so I have to use a wool felt underpad in addition to the saddle pad to keep her happy.
I was looking for the same saddle pad with a wool felt lining so I could do away with my two-part system. Thought this version would work, but alas, the shearling lining is too soft and the pad doesn't provide the support we're accustomed to.
I wish Reinsman would built a version with a wool felt liner.
That said, if you're ok with the shearling lining,

Great pad!I love this saddle pad and so does my horse! The fleece is super soft against his skin (he's a grey with sensitive skin & gets real cranky if something rubs him the wrong way). I use a small non-slip liner under the pad & it doesn't move at all. The liner helps to keep the underneath clean and I just use a brush to clean the topside. Really good looking pad too. Highly recommend if you love a quality pad with good looks.

Wonderful pad for high-withered ArabianIn hot Texas weather, this pad absorbs sweat but dries overnight. A simple brushing the next day keeps it soft and clean. This is the only pad I have found that fits my Polish Arabian's short back and high withers. A beautiful product. I bought one and liked it so much that I bought another so I have an alternate.

My horse likes it.My Quarter/Arab mare is very picky about saddle pads and will let me know if she likes them or not. She prefers fleece pads to felt ones probably because that is what she has always had. She immediately indicated she liked this pad and has gone very well in it. I only gave it a four because I have not had it long enough to know how it will hold up. I love the way it is shaped to fit the back with the cut out for the withers.

Excellent Pad for ArabianThis is the only pad I have found that fits a very high-withered short-backed Russian-bred Arabian gelding perfectly. I love the fit, the fact that the rounded back does not interfere with his hip movement. Thick fleece cushions and remains soft. Beautifully contoured so that I can even pull it higher above withers after I place the pad on his back to avoid any pressure at all. He has the highest withers I have seen with a short back, and this is the only pad I will use on him. He is able to move freely and seems very comfortable. Even in Texas heat, the fleece backing absorbs moisture nicely.
