As Julie Goodnight says it is the answer to many fitting problelmsThe perfect solution after many failed attempts at other half pads to fit a narrow high withered pony on which every saddle could not be adequately cinched to not rock back and forth. This little cushion tucks around the shark fin wither bone and replaces missing muscle at the shoulder.
Pros:Designed just right for the hard to fit narrow older pony.
Cons:It is very expensive, but worth it.

The perfect solution!jI purchased this on the advice of one of the sales folks. My horse has a high withers and had a problem with his saddle rocking and rubbing the fur off his back. I sent photos and they suggested this pad. Combined with a medical grade sheepskin and a rear cinch, we were able to better stabilize the saddle and the problem is solved.

Great padI use this pad between the saddle blanket and the saddle, otherwise it slides a little bit. Great pad for the older and sway backed horses

circle y shoulder bridgeGood quality. I cannot get the pad to stay in place...it seems to slip during ride. I am not sure if it's me...or the product! Any advice?

bridge padI bought this for my older horse that has some hollows behind his shoulder. It will not stay in place for a moment when directly on the horse. I now put it on top of the saddle pad directly under my saddle to keep it in place. when it arrived I could feel under the fabric that there were holes in the foam. I was told this was normal. Very expensive for a tiny piece of foam with holes and a thin stretchy cover. would not buy again and would not recommend.

Good padding, but needs a better fitI need to stick a Velcro strip to the upside, so it sticks to the Horse Blanket. Three times I used it, it slipped out under the saddle and flew off the back!

It's helpfulI really like this pad; it really does help fill in that pocket. However, it could be improved with the addition of some velcro tabs to hold it in place; it has occasionally worked its way out of place under the saddle.
