Topeka Flex2 Trail Saddle 1651

Circle Y's Flex2 trail saddles are beautiful enough to ride in the show ring, but comfortable enough for an extra long trail ride. Topeka's special features include an Apache leather seat, multiple strings and domed conchos to attatch riding gear, and Circle Y's improved tunnel skirt design. The new tunnel skirt is open down the center of the saddle, allowing the horse's spine area to be free of potential pressure. The beautiful Herman Oak leather features a tooled shelled border.
This saddle also features Circle Y's unique 3 way, in-skirt rigging, which combines the features of a standard western dee rig with the opportunity to change the position of the rig to a full, 3/4, or 7/8 by merely changing the use of the tie strap.
Circle Y's Newest Advance: The Flex2
Circle Y continues to improve its Flex-Lite tree technology. The new Flex2 tree design incorporates a tree that has been coated with DURAhide to ensure that it stays strong and resistant to the elements. DURAhide is much more dependable than traditionally rawhide or fiberglass-covered trees and actually adds strength to the saddle.
It also contains Circle Y's new high density and low density bars. The high density bars give support and stability to the saddle and evenly distribute weight, while the low density bars allow the saddle to conform to your horse, allowing freedom in motion and enhancing your horse's natural gait. Combine this with Circle Y's comfortable seat, and you have a saddle that promises to outperform the competition.

Do you prefer a tighter Barrel Fit?
Are you fitting for a Tucker Saddle?
Calculated Seat Size:

Things to Consider
- Tucker adds 1/2inch to their seat sizes (due to thick seat padding)
16.5 Tucker = 16 normally
- Barrel riders usually take 1 less on the seat size
16 Trail Rider = 15 Barrel Rider
- Ranch (slick seats) usually ride smaller (1/2inch seat size) so they dont slide around
16 is for most men, 15 for most women
- Trail Saddles with High Cantles (5) make the seat sizes feel smaller
Trail Saddle with 5 cantle will feel smaller in the seat than one with a 3.5 cantle
- English Saddles dont convert exactly but often are 2 bigger
18 English = 16 Western
- Riders with inseams under 30 or 5 tall and under often need custom cut fenders
Tall riders with long legs but lighter weight may need custom cut fenders as well

Checking the Fit
- General Guideline is about 3 fingers between your thigh and the swell.
